Teaching Philosophy
My education philosophy is that to be an affective educator you must continuously learn and be aware of your surroundings. Teaching is both an art and a science. To be the most effective educator the students must be of most importance. Educators teaching styles should be consistent to the students learning style at all times. The word equity should come to mind instead of equality when working with students. All students should be given the same opportunities and support to succeed, and should be accommodated to. Educators that give willingly of themselves to better educate their students is how quality individuals are molded.
My Five Personal Teaching Principles
1.) Know and understand your students.
2.) Take an interest in student’s family, interests and culture.
3.) Know what you teach.
4.) Keep up with the new strategies and techniques in teaching.
5.) Accommodate to the students learning styles.
6.) Love your job and students.
